Where this Privacy Notice refers to “we”, “us” or “our”, it means Arbor Capital Partners LLP.
2. Scope of This Privacy Notice
This website is purely informational. It presents general information about Arbor Capital Partners LLP and does not offer any interactive features. In particular, this website does not operate user accounts, registration or login areas, contact forms, newsletter sign-ups, analytics or tracking tools, social media plug-ins, or cookies of any kind.
We do not knowingly collect, store, or process personal data of visitors to this website, with the sole exception of server log files as described in Section 3 below.
3. Hosting and Automatically Collected Data
This website is hosted by a third-party hosting provider. When you access this website, your browser automatically transmits certain technical data to the hosting provider’s servers. This data includes:
your IP address; the date and time of the request; the specific page or resource accessed; the volume of data transmitted; the HTTP status code; the referring URL (the page from which you navigated to our website); and your browser type, version, and operating system.
This data is processed automatically and is technically necessary for the delivery and display of the website. Without this processing, the website cannot be served to your browser.
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR (legitimate interest). Our legitimate interest lies in the technically reliable provision of this website and the protection of our systems against misuse. This interest does not, in our assessment, override your rights and freedoms, as the data processed is limited to what is technically necessary and is not used for any other purpose.
Hosting provider: GoDaddy Operating Company, LLC, 100 S. Mill Ave, Suite 1600, Tempe, Arizona 85281, USA.
Retention: Server log files are stored for 7 days and are automatically deleted thereafter. They are not merged with any other data sources or used for profiling or analytics purposes.
4. Cookies, Analytics, and Tracking
This website does not use cookies, web beacons, tracking pixels, analytics services (such as Google Analytics), or any comparable technologies. No personal data is collected through such means.
5. Encryption
This website uses SSL/TLS encryption (recognisable by “https://” in the browser address bar) to protect the transmission of data between your browser and our server. This helps prevent third parties from reading data in transit.
6. Contact by E-Mail
If you contact us by e-mail, we will process the personal data contained in your message (typically your name, e-mail address, and the content of your correspondence) solely for the purpose of handling your enquiry.
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to incoming business correspondence), or Article 6(1)(b) UK GDPR where your enquiry relates to the performance or negotiation of a contract.
Retention: We retain correspondence only for as long as necessary to deal with the matter at hand and any follow-up, and in any event no longer than required by applicable statutory record-keeping obligations (typically up to 6 years under the Limitation Act 1980).
We do not use your e-mail address for marketing purposes, nor do we pass it on to third parties, unless this is necessary for the handling of your enquiry (e.g. to our legal advisers) or required by law.
7. No Further Data Processing
Beyond what is described in Sections 3 and 6, we do not process personal data in connection with this website. In particular, we do not carry out profiling, automated decision-making, or direct marketing through this website.
8. Disclosure of Personal Data
We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise make available your personal data to third parties for their own purposes.
A disclosure may occur in the following limited circumstances:
Hosting provider: Our hosting provider processes server log data on our behalf as described in Section 3. This processing is governed by a data processing agreement in accordance with Article 28 UK GDPR.
Legal obligations: We may disclose personal data where required by law, regulation, or court order.
9. International Data Transfers
The personal data processed in connection with this website is stored on servers in the United States of America. We ensure appropriate safeguards for this transfer by relying on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (in which GoDaddy participates) as well as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA).
You may request a copy of the relevant safeguards at info@arborcapital.com.
10. Data Security
We have implemented appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, accidental loss, alteration, or destruction. These measures include SSL/TLS encryption for data in transit, access controls limiting data access to authorised personnel, and contractual obligations imposed on our hosting provider.
11. Your Rights
Under the UK GDPR, you are entitled to exercise the following rights in relation to your personal data:
Right of access (Article 15) – You may request confirmation of whether we process personal data concerning you and, if so, obtain a copy of that data.
Right to rectification (Article 16) – You may request that inaccurate or incomplete personal data be corrected.
Right to erasure (Article 17) – You may request that your personal data be deleted where there is no lawful ground for its continued processing.
Right to restriction (Article 18) – You may request that we restrict the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances.
Right to data portability (Article 20) – You may request to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format.
Right to object (Article 21) – You may object to processing based on legitimate interests at any time. We will cease processing unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, rights, and freedoms.
Right to withdraw consent (Article 7(3)) – Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to the withdrawal.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at info@arborcapital.com. We will respond to your request within one month of receipt. In exceptional cases, this period may be extended by a further two months, in which case we will inform you of the extension and the reasons for it.
